I just found a really interesting article that talks about exactly the kind of learning that we’re doing here on my blog! Looks like others have thought this was a pretty cool way to get parents, teachers, and students all on the same page too! Maybe you can look forward to some literary interpretation homework in the future as well!
Check this out and then leave me a comment about your thoughts!!

Okay, I have to tell you, the idea of homework really doesn’t appeal to me. BUT, I understand it. I think I is very important for parents to know what is going on in school. While at work one day, I checked Erica’s grades, a co-worker asked me if it upset Erica to know that I could check her work. My response at first was, I doesn’t matter if she likes it or not. But after I decided to be a little more PC, I told her that Erica likes me to be involved, in the future she may not, and she will just have to find a way to deal with it. I’m not going away. Anyway, back on track, as I was reading the article I did think about the parents that are not fluent in English. I was happy to see that the teacher in the article made accomadations for parents that didn’t feel comfortable or were unable to respond on his blog site.
