There’s something so
right
about those moments
when I just
know.
The signs
of sickness
in a little lady
who’s lost
the “sprinkle”
in her eye.
The too-harsh
handle
I placed on
her chubby arm
for fear of her
breaking the
only
working
copier.
The rush of
gratitude
that I
recognized ~ and ~
apologized.
And soaked those
choking little
sobs into the
shoulder
of my shirt.
There’s something so
right
about those moments.

Wow. Way to capture the moment. Breathtaking.

Glad you captured your slice in poetry. 😉 I appreciate the circular ending. I’ll have to try a poem for an upcoming slice.
Happy writing,
