Day One

Today, I wonder…

about the learning happening in rooms across the venue,
and the transformative power of connected teaching.

if my request to postpone an important conversation
was received as intended.

why it’s so easy to let so much time pass between touching base
with friends we love and respect.

about the young mother whose son hates “the girls’ bathroom!” but
has no choice since Dad wasn’t with them that night.

About the damp circle I noticed on the back of the driver’s jeans as
she double-up a sweatshirt and climbed back in behind the wheel.

how long I have been driving into inky blackness with lights only
beneficial to me and not fellow drivers.

I love so many things about this! Most importantly, that you remembered the first day and how thought provoking each story was. It is like 6 stories in 1.
