Autumn. The cool October air and nearly leafless trees are a sure sign that it’s trick-or-treat time. Halloween. Petrified cornstalks stand at attention guarding staircases and spooky porches, while carved pumpkins glow eerily. As kids of all ages slip into costumes, I can’t help but wonder if they’re trying on an image they want to be, or revealing who they really are?
