I’m thankful for the ability to publish this post – despite the fact that for some reason I cannot see a single word that I’m typing.
So in some ways, this also makes me appreciate the importance of taking in – retreading, digesting and processing what I write. Because now, staring at the empty white box on my screen, knowing it’s filled with words, that I can’t see and don’t understand – is frustrating.
I’m thankful for frustration because it helps me realize that this is precisely how some of my students feel. And even though this post may be riddled with errors, it’s not because I don’t care or be ause I didn’t try my best. It’s because even at my best, I can’t fix what I can’t see. I’m thankful for knowing this today.
