Six years ago tonight, my water broke on the car ride home from our small group at church. Yet today, after surviving, no thriving, through my first ever Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday party ~ 5 adults, 11 kids, 200+ tokens, and 2 hours of fun ~ I have officially earned my rank as a parent.

This post made me laugh! I think thriving (actually even surviving) a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese, or any of those kinds of places, truly does qualify one for parenthood!
