What a fabulous day! I love that he re-did his waking up just for Seneca — and what a perfect birthday fortune. Sounds like this day was filled with perfection. Happy birthday, Calder!!

What a fun birthday. Happy birthday to Calder! Fruity Pebbles and Chinese food for dinner. Wow! That is a special day. The only thing that would’ve been more perfect is a snow day, right?

How appropriate is that fortune cookie!? I sometimes get overwhelmed by the myth of “super mom” or all of the ideas on Pinterest, but your post proves that the simplest of things are often the most special… Especially quality time!

What a nice description of a beautiful day! The love for your family spills from this piece. I can relate to the younger sibling wanting to do something special and the older one playing along. So sweet! The pictures help capture those special moments. Great slice!

Lovely post. You captured the specialness of this day so well. I’m sure Calder will have fond memories of this birthday, and the many more to come, since it sounds like there are birthday rituals at your house. Happy birthday, Calder!
