Thirty-six minutes later and I finally just got up. In the still of the night, I heard the heat kick on and the deep breath of my sleeping family. These night-time sounds were punctuated by the flash of lightning and rumble of thunder just beyond the pane.

Within an hour of my unrealistic alarm, I finally dozed again which only left me eager for more.

Tonight, I sleepily gaze at my screen and blink back my usual exhaustion.
